Default Source Routing Overhaul:
Prior to this version, default source selection was only possible by macros OR in single display systems: by setting a source’s Select By Default flag.
Additionally, the behaviour for automatically routing AV sources that had sync detected (aka. hot plug) was not adjustable from the room configuration.
Note: The Select By Default flag has been deprecated and removed from the configuration. Any systems that use it will now need to define a new Default Route.
Version 2.14.1 introduces 2 new sub-sections in the Automation section of the Space CE configuration.
Default Routes: A list of objects that define the source and destination of a route, as well as the room mode that will trigger this route.
Hot Plug Routes: A list of objects that defines the source and destination of a route that will be triggered when the given source has sync detected (via AV Sources / Video Sync Devices).
Lighting Enrichment:
Version 2.14.1 introduces a new sub-section in the Lighting section of the Space CE configuration.
The new lighting settings section allows you to configure if lighting exists in the room, but is controlled outside of the Space CE UI (eg. light switch on the wall).
Additionally, the new lighting settings section allows you to configure the following presets:Default Preset: The preset to be recalled when the room mode changes (even when powering off).Presentation Preset: The preset to be recalled when a source gets shared to a display destination.Time Based Shutdown Preset: The preset to be recalled when the room is shut down via time based auto shutdown.
Bugfixes & Drivers
- Fixed a bug where the UI would show a microphone battery level warning when the microphone was powered off / charging.
- Fixed a bug where in a communal source link scenario that uses a shared matrix the routing was not being triggered.
- Fixed a bug where the Panasonic projector driver would occasionally fail to issue a command due to the authentication hash expiring.
- Fixed a bug where the default startup and shutdown mute actions for audio channels was not communicated properly to failover-capable middleware room controller devices.
