Assets Overview

The assets page show device information such as Model number, IP address, and the MAC address, as well as metrics such as the devices power status.

Columns

The following columns of data are shown in the Assets page.

Each column header includes a searchable field, so devices can be narrowed down by room, category, IP range etc.

Room
The room column shows the room in which a device has been deployed in, as a text field.
Name
The Device Name is a user-defined name from the Innomesh Room Management page. An example of a device name would be Projector or Main Touch Panel.
Category
The category relates to a genre of device i.e. an Encoder, Decoder, Touch Panel, or Document Camera
Brand
The Brand relates to the make or manufacturer of the devices, for example Crestron, Panasonic etc.
Model
The model is a text field which displays the Model Name or Model Number of a device. Note that this field won’t propogate for some devices, such as a Fusion Room instance.
Hostname
If the device is configured as a DHCP device and connects to Innomesh via hostname, then the Hostname field will reflect this address.
IP Address
The IP Address shows the IP Address of the device.
IP Port
The IP Port shows the port in which Innomesh communicates with the device i.e. port 1024 for a Panasonic display, or 1702 for a QSC Digital Signal Processor.
MAC Address
The MAC Address field shows the Media Access Control address (or sometimes called hardware or physical address) of a device i.e. 00:B0:D0:63:C2:26
Serial Number
The Serial Number field shows the serial number which is unique identifier assigned to the device upon creation.
Firmware
The Firmware of a device is reflects the version of low-level software that controls the device’s hardware.
On / Off state
Whether the device is on or off. This column reflecs the state of devices that are regularly turned on and off, such as displays and PTZ Cameras.
Online / Offline
This column shows devices that are online and offline. Offline devices will results in an alert in the Hotlist.

Columns can be shown and hidden by clicking on the Customise button at the top-left hand corner of the webpage.

Additional Options

On the far right of each asset is an ellipse which can be expanded to show further options. These options vary on a device by device basis.

The base options for all devices are as follows:

  • Show Details
  • Show Room
  • Show Live Info

If you have the Innomesh Ops add-on (read about this add-on here), additional options available for some devices (like the device shown below) are as follows:

  • Power Off
  • Power On
  • Set Input (some Panasonic displays and projectors)
  • Preset Recall (some cameras. ie Panasonic, Vaddio & Sony)
  • Factory Reset (currently limited to Crestron devices)
  • Reboot (currently limited to Crestron devices)
  • Update Firmware (currently limited to Crestron devices)
  • Update Touch Panel File (currently limited to Crestron touch panel devices)
  • Restart Zoom (for Zoom Rooms)
  • Update Computer Version (for Zoom Rooms)
  • Update Controller Version (for Zoom Rooms)
  • Update Device Settings (for Zoom Rooms)

Show Details

The Show Details options goes into further details about the device, showing the base details like room, ID, name, brand and custom fields like for example Asset Tag Number, Switch Port, and Field Port.

Live Status

The Live Status field shows device specific analytics, which have been made available with the Innomesh driver registry. Innomesh polls the device and pulls a wide range of metrics, as seen below.
